Bangkok With Your Dog: 5 Must-Visit Pet-Friendly Spots
October 6, 2025 – By marika
Living in Bangkok with a dog isn’t always easy — many places don’t allow pets, and some spots are much better than others. I moved to Bangkok with my 3-year-old Shih Tzu, and in six months, I’ve managed to explore quite a few pet-friendly places with him. Here’s my top 5 dog-friendly spots in Bangkok, whether it’s for a coffee, a stroll to entertain your dog, a meal, or working on your laptop in an air-conditioned, pet-friendly space!
Tap Yard 49 – Dine while your dog relaxes on the grass

Located on Sukhumvit 49, this is an outdoor restaurant with a nice green space where your dog can lounge on the (synthetic) grass while you eat the best chicken in Bangkok (seriously, I only go there for that now). The staff are super friendly with dogs — I was able to let mine off-leash without anyone saying anything (he doesn’t wander far on his own). It’s calm, and the atmosphere is really nice. Haps – Work remotely with your dog

A cute brunch café/restaurant where you can work on your laptop. Honestly, I had a bit of trouble concentrating there — the staff were fascinated by my dog and kept coming over to interact with us. But with a pair of Bluetooth headphones, it should be fine. The menu even offers dog-friendly ice cream, and the décor is really charming. Click here for the exact location.
K Village – A relaxed and easy outing

It’s not much, but it’s the perfect spot to wander for an hour or two with your dog: a small pet frienly outdoor shopping center with plenty of coffee and food stalls, a few shops for dogs and humans, restaurants, and an interesting dog play area. Lots of people stroll there with their dogs, so mine loves sniffing around and exploring all the scents. I can calmly sip my Iced Cappuccino in the play area while he checks every corner and blade of grass. Click here for the Google Maps Location.
Cul de Sac – Rooftop drinks with your dog

A completely different vibe — Cul de Sac is a pet-friendly rooftop in the heart of Thong Lo. Your dog won’t have much to do, but at least you can enjoy a rooftop moment with him, for once. The staff were very attentive to my dog — I even let him wander off-leash, and no one said anything (though I have the calmest dog in the world). It’s a lovely spot to have a drink or a snack with friends or a partner. Click here for the location.
W Market – Outdoor dinner

If your dog enjoys spending the evening outside with you, and you have an active social life in Bangkok, W Market is a good compromise. It’s a great spot to meet up, eat, and bring your dog along. It’s spacious, outdoors, with lots of food stalls (something for every taste), and plenty of space to walk your dog before or after dinner. Click here for the Google Maps Location.
That’s it for my top 5 favorite spots!
Living in Bangkok with a dog requires a bit of planning, but with the right addresses, everything becomes much easier and more enjoyable. These five pet-friendly places each offer a different experience — from relaxing, brunching, and strolling to rooftop moments.
